Cognac Lodolite/Garden Quartz

This one came out of Christian’s vault.

And honestly, I understand why.

The first time I picked it up, I ended up staring into it way longer than I intended to.

The cognac color is beautiful, but that’s not what got us.

It’s the depth.

The deeper you look into this crystal, the more it feels like there’s an entire world inside of it. The garden inclusions create these incredible landscapes that seem to go on forever, and somehow the whole piece feels bigger on the inside than it does on the outside.

Then you turn it around.

The back of this thing is absolutely insane.

The rainbow isn’t tucked away in a tiny corner. It takes over a huge section of the crystal and completely changes the personality of the piece when the light catches it.

This isn’t the kind of crystal we come across every day, and it’s definitely not the kind of crystal that gets forgotten once you’ve held it.

It’s unusual, it’s substantial, and it has the kind of presence that makes people stop what they’re doing and take a second look.
