King Arthur’s Sword ⚔️

I don’t usually name crystals, but this one never had a chance.

The second I saw it, all I could think was King Arthur, Excalibur, and the Sword in the Stone.

This incredible Hashupi Quartz comes from the Hashupi region of Pakistan’s Shigar Valley. While it technically forms in the Karakoram Mountains rather than the Himalayas themselves, the two mountain ranges sit side by side and are part of the same great high mountain region of Asia. That’s why collectors often group pieces like this under the broader category of Himalayan Quartz.

What makes this piece so special is that it is completely natural and untouched. This is not a polished carving. This is how nature actually grew it.

The clarity is unbelievable. Crystal clear from tip to base, with a beautiful dusting of green chlorite coating the lower half of the crystal. It almost looks like the handle of a sword emerging from the earth, while the clear quartz blade rises above it.

I love statement pieces, and this is exactly the kind of piece that stops me in my tracks.

Not because it’s flashy.

Because it’s fascinating.

How does a crystal naturally grow into something that looks so much like a sword?

How does nature create something this clean, this dramatic, and this perfectly balanced?

The more you look at it, the more impossible it feels.
